About me
Miwako Tan, MT-BC
She is a board certified music therapist, a trained pianist, a mom to her two kids and a cancer survivor. She has worked with people in psychiatric hospitals, developmental centers, and geriatric facilities aside from her private practice. Her perfect pitch has gotten her into music early on and understands who also has perfect pitch. Her experiences in cancer treatment have a deep impact on her practice. Embracing everyone’s differences, learning and growing together is her motto.
